Two kitchens in Bergen

These two kitchens in Bergen, NJ show contrasting designs befitting unique homes that had very different layouts.

Earthy Kitchen

This earth-tone kitchen complements a brilliant orange wall. Cooking is done on the main countertop, and the sink is on the island. There is casual seating for two at one end of the island, and a place for the dog bowls. The island lighting with rubbed bronze has a striking sculptural quality.

Open Plan Kitchen

This kitchen renovation used a calm color scheme of moss green walls complemented by soft white cabinetry and countertops. On the island, the cooktop has a stainless ventilation hood above it complimenting the modern stainless appliances, and a butcherblock extension seating three. The open plan flows into the dining area and brings focus to a cherished painting. The main countertop has a large ceramic farm sink. A guest bar with glasses and an under-counter wine cooler is near the dining room and away from kitchen work areas for easy guest access.
